Yo class, yer guys noe tat on wed, FTCT, we wern havin any teacher in our class, n we were vry chaotic. LiYuan was tryin vry hard to keep us quiet, n not long aft, she gave up. We were still so noisy. Not long aft, Gary Shouted at us to tell us to keep quiet n return to our places. Howevar, even worse, we started talkin again, wif Gary shoutin at us de scond time.
We onli noe how to keep quiet aft someone shouts at us?
In de first place, we shouldnt even be makin so much noise. LiYuan couldnt keep us quiet, so Gary had to step in. In class we should be quiet, All de more there wasnt any teacher in de class. Mrs Loke was oso havin oral practice wif her students. Not tat i really lyk her, but we should be considerate to ppl around us. Wat if we were havin oral practice outside instead of 2/3?
We wouldnt lyk any chaotic class makin so much uproar n distract us frm practicin rite?
We should really be more considerate n listen to LiYuan. We should oso give her our respect. She's really been givin her best for de class. Imagine if there's no one to tell us we were talkin too much, n onli get into trouble when a teacher comes in n scold us? Stop askin her to shaddap, when we r de ones who should.
Watz more, i cant stand de fact some of us laughed n made fun of Gary when he's tryin to keep us quiet. If u do tat, u might as well laugh at evry teacher who tells us to keep quiet rite? i think that this psychological warfare is almost over. i realise how human minds work, once we think we are right, we refuse to accept other ideas. its like the we are right , you are wrong. this blocks our ability to be considerate, thing about what other people is feeling, to accept other ideas, to think, and to grow up. my side has been insulted by a lot of ppl. we are like treated as outcast. it is not only jana that feels the pain. our side feels it to. its seems that both sides feel injustice. i dont want to apolagis ( i dunno how the fk u spell it) but like is say, its almost over. the class shirt, i dont wanna comment bout it. if i insult any one, my bad, if u insult us...

the fact that our class is not bonded is that we have small cliques ( i dunno how to spell that either) we refuse to cooperate and we hold so firmly to our beleif. we are not bonded because of the fact that some people tries to organise the class without the students of our class getting involved. politically, its called communism, lay-mans term, ur the boss.

even without the class t shirt, there is a class chalet at the end of the year right? look forward to that instead. we can be one.

Hey everyone. I agree with Jeromy and Claire. Can't all these fights stop? Fight after fight after fight. No one's wrong but no one's 100% right either. Some people don't want the class shirt, fine, don't stir emotions and take it all as a joke, there are people who might not find it funny. Please, think of others. And the people supporting the class shirt should chill too. I know ya'll want the class tee(I want it too) but some people are not too keen on it. Yeah, the others can be rude, but the problem can be resolved better if everyone puts themselves into each others shoes. We cannot afford to think one-sidedly.
If everyone cooperates and understands each other, no fighting will be needed. Come on, we're all 14/15 or almost 14, we should be able to resolve this better. And think about it, if we can't even understand each other, how can we expect TEACHERS to understand us and stop comparing/complaining?
Please, we have only like 4 months together. Less than that. Can we try make them good ones? We can all get along well, and we know it, so lets all make an effort to do that.
I love you guys. Seriously. And it hurts so much to see so many misunderstandings.

something i found in zoey's blog i feel you all should read.

I want a class t-shirt, and I want it as soon as possible. Before teacher’s day would be fantastic. Also today, Mr. Ahmad reprimanded our class for being so boisterous and inattentive. He mentioned that 2/4, out of all the five classes they are teaching, is the worst class ever. This is not the first time a teacher has said that to us. I remember Mrs. Ow also thinks that 2/4 is the most troublesome and un-co-operative class ever.

I honestly feel sorry for all our teachers. I really do. Nobody can understand us, unlike Mdm. Lina. The teachers are always comparing us with other classes. They also always have to add that even 2/8 is better than us in every way, be it our attentiveness in class, or our punctuality in submitting our homework.

Firstly, why do they have to make such a big deal about 2/8 being better than us? Do they mean that 2/8 is deemed to be the lousiest class, just because they are from the Normal Technical stream? I highly doubt that. Just because they are slower in terms of academics doesn’t mean that they are supposed to be rowdy and are expected to have poor conduct.

Also, it doesn’t mean that just because we are 2/4, of the Express stream, we are therefore supposed to be the cream of the crop, and are expected to be exemplary in conduct. My personal opinion is that they can’t judge us altogether. I mean, 2/4 is special. 2/4 is a mixture of people with different aspects of life. If you want to judge us, judge us individually.

Look, the people who can’t seem to shut up in class are actually smart. Sure, the go to LAN shops every single solitary day, but oh look at their Math results! They’re one of the best! And some of us who are somewhat academically challenged have their plus points too! We just merely excel in different subjects. Take me for example. I am a failure in Math. I’m hopeless in Chinese. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to fail everything else too, right?

Just because our class average in Science was the highest in the whole level the previous year, does it necessarily mean that all of us are excellent in Science? Hell no! Oh, how I wish Mr. Toh would stop questioning everyone’s ability by saying “I thought you guys are supposed to be the best class in Science…?”

I just know that 2/4 is a very special class. So what if we aren’t as bonded as 2/6? So what if teachers hate us? If you look at all of us individually, we are all different, but we are still able to get along so well with each other. In a worst-case scenario e.g. all classes were at war, I don’t think any 2/4-ians would leave for a stronger class.

But 2/4, don’t you think we can improve at least a slight bit? Even the cushion thingymajiggy for Teacher’s Day isn’t making any progress at all. You know how guilty I felt when Ms Diana said if you guys don’t want to do anything about it, just give it to her as it is?

I scoff at how irresponsible you guys can be sometimes. You guys can’t even do a simple thing. It doesn’t have to be spanking good. But you guys didn’t bother doing ANYTHING at all, except throw the cushions around in class, and chuckling as they land pathetically on the floor!

If you don’t want to do anything about the cushions, why don’t you just pass the responsibility so others, instead of leaving the cushions at the back of the class, just waiting for them to collect dust? Tomorrow we girls would be charitable and remove your so-called “burden” of decorating the cushions. You guys better have the heart to at least thank us.

Thank our class manager especially. She has done so much for us! It’s because of you guys that she’s getting so stressed up, but she never complains. We ought to really thank her for everything. Seriously. Thank you, Li Yuan. I admire your perseverance a whole lot. You deserve much more credit than you’re getting now.

I also think Ms. Diana deserves some credit. 2/4 isn’t a very easy class to handle. With Mrs. Teo away on maternity leave, Ms. Diana has been very busy too right? And we mostly depend on our class manager for everything.

I have no idea why, I feel like I can break down any moment now. I just wish things could go smoothly without any setbacks for once. Why can’t everyone just get along, and co-operate? I love you, 2/4. Why don’t we show everyone how amazing we can be?

This is already our last year together, why can't we just have a class shirt? Even if we can't wear it to school, it's still a class thing, you can actually wear it to stuff like class outings, and teacher's day. Take it as a souvenir, a memory for the fact we've been together for 2 years. It's more than just a shirt. It's a symbol of our unity, showing that we're proud to be 2/4.

After going through so much during secondary one, Mdm Lina and all, class chalet and stuff, do you really feel NOTHING at all for 2/4? That even a class T-Shirt is just a waste of money? Is that what you really think?

If you don't want the class shirt, it's fine. That's YOUR decision. But Please. Don't try stirring up anti-class shirt feelings from others. We don't need anyone to add fuel to the fire. Even if it's meant to be a joke, it's not being appreciated, cause it's so not funny.

Also, to some of you, do you really think it's right to treat Li Yuan like a pest, constantly asking her to shut up when she's doing her job? You think she wants to do that? Do you think she enjoys this? It isn't as easy as you think, for Li Yuan alone trying to maintain order in the class. Why can't you cut her some slack? Try putting yourself in her shoes. Thank our class manager especially. She has done so much for us! It’s because of you guys that she’s getting so stressed up, but she never complains. We ought to really thank her for everything.

Isn't this behavior getting out of hand? Look at how Mr Ahmad chided us today. What do you feel? Should we just continue like this, wasting time away? How do you think Mdm Lina would feel if she finds out 2/4 is behaving like this?

Go reflect. We all have to reflect.

This is my personal opinion anyway. You can choose to ignore it if you want to, if you think that's what you should do. I really hope that you guys can come to your senses.

Anyways, good luck for the upcoming Math test and English test.

Dear Secondary 2/4,

Coming tomorrow, is our Nation's big event of the year- National Day. Some people might have mixed feelings, but even so- I really do hope we will stand together as one to think back. Think back to our roots and ancestors, who fought hard for our land and see it grow to the beautiful nation now.

Words cannot express the love I have for Singapore now, and I really hope every single one of you will be feeling that love, that honor, that spirit. Remember, the future lies straight on our hands now and every single one of you, plays a significant part to build this future.

Do tune in to the Television Channels, and watch the National Day Parade 2009 Show.

Also, do take note to say out the Pledge with pride and honor at 8:22pm, which is noted as the 'Pledge Moment'. Shout out the Pledge, and shout with all of your might. Doesn't matter if you're living in the HDB, Condominium whatsoever. Go and disturb the neighbours with your shouting if you have to. =)

Let's say this Pledge as one then. Every single one of us. Foreigners, though you are not required to say it, but if possible, please do! We still treat you like family, so as a family, please support us!

I'll be representing Temasek Secondary School tomorrow under the National Police Cadet Corps in the Parade Segment. I would be in the Leading Column, so if you're watching on Television, try and catch a glimpse of me if your eyes are sharp enough.

It's hard to fight for a place in the Leading Column, but don't worry. I swear I won't let the school and the class down. I promise.
